Enabling Private and Charter School Expansion in Miami
Florida's private and charter school sector is expanding at an extraordinary pace. Driven by one of the fastest-growing state populations in the country, increased school choice legislation, and sustained demand from families seeking alternatives to the public system, developers and educational operators across Miami-Dade are investing heavily in purpose-built school infrastructure. New campuses, expansions, and ground-up facilities are reshaping neighborhoods from Coral Gables to the southern suburbs.

Riviera Schools is among the region's most established private education institutions, with roots dating back to 1950. Their latest project — developed by South Riviera Investments — brings a brand new two-story, 63,120 square foot charter school campus to Miami-Dade, designed to serve 750 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. A standout feature of the facility is a 20,000 square foot rooftop playground — a creative solution to maximizing outdoor space on a dense urban site. American Services of Miami provided civil engineering and surveying services to support the project from site documentation through construction.
